Jay has been with Rottler since 1994. He started out as a technician, then grew into a Supervisor role for a few years before being promoted to Branch Manager in early 2000. Jay has been the Technical Director since 2007, and has been our go-to-guy for all things entomology.
Personal Life
Jay and his girlfriend Joy live in Alton, Illinois with their two dogs Deano (Jack Russel), and Sugar (Miniature Pinscher). Jay has two children, Evan (27), and Colin (20).

What did you want to be when you were younger?
Jay wanted to be a firefighter or a marine biologist.
What is your favorite trip and why?
Jay has two favorite trips: He went to Sydney Australia for the “Millennium” and Hawaii (cruise where he went around all the islands) – Maui was his favorite.

PCT Magazine, Mallis Handbook, and many others.
What’s a strange fact that most don’t know about you?
Jay is the founding President of the Urban Pest Management Technical Committee (UPMTC, Inc.). This is a group of technical directors from across the country that get together monthly to share ideas and educate each other on industry information. Jay and this group visit various universities to present to entomology students.
