Fun Facts

What did you want to be when you were younger?

I wanted to be a veterinarian for as long as I can remember. When I was growing up, my parents humored me and let me have an assortment of animals as pets. At one point, I think I had a bunny rabbit, turtle, cat, dog and fish.

What is your favorite trip and why?

I went to Moab, Utah once and it was like stepping into a postcard. It didn’t matter what types of food there were to eat or shops there were to shop in. All you wanted to do was be outside and soak it all in. It was one of the most beautiful places I have ever witnessed.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

I love to thrift, read, be outdoors and do all things foodie. If I am not upcycling something or cozied up to a good book, you will almost always find me looking for a trail to hike or a cool new restaurant to try.

What industry publications or resources do you follow to stay inspired and informed?

Linked in is my primary source for staying in the loop on all things industry. I follow PCT Magazine and PWIPM closely on Linked In. Not to mention my industry friends I have met at Pestsure and NPMA Academy/Womens Forum. People in the industry can be some of your best assets. I often find myself turning to them for advice as I navigate my new role.

What’s an unusual or surprising fact most people don’t know about you?

I think I was a very outdoorsy kiddo because my entire adulthood its been a running joke that I must not have spent much time in front of the TV. I missed all childhood classic movies. Thanks to my team, at Rottler they have created a list of “must see’s” for me to cover my bases on but I don’t think I watched The Goonies or The Sandlot until I was at least 25. On the flip side, it makes watching them as an adult childish and fun! I get to live some adolescence.
