In October 2022 Alert One Pest Control merged with Rottler Pest Solutions. Rottler is excited to have a location based in the Joplin area as they have been serving Joplin since 2013.

“We have spent most of our time focusing on the commercial clients in the area, we are excited that the Alert One merger will allow us the opportunity to support the residential customers in the area that may work at the many commercial facilities that we service,” quoted Mike Johnson, Regional Manager at Rottler Pest Solutions.

Rottler Pest Solutions is a third-generation company that has been growing since 1956. Rottler currently has seven technicians in the Joplin area. We are proud to be the largest family-owned independent pest control company in Missouri that now has a home base right here in Joplin.

While our company did originate in St Louis, Rottler is and have always been local to Joplin. Many of our technicians grew up in Joplin and are excited to officially bring Rottler Pest Solutions to the area, including Chris Evans, the Service Manager of the Joplin branch who was born and raised in Joplin. In August of 2013 Evans became an Associate Certified Entomologist, but he started working in pest control in 2004 while with Terminix.

Evans moved into a new role as a commercial pest control technician in 2008 with Schendel Pest Solutions. “This is where my love and skill of the challenging and complex properties began,” commented Evans. He has been a technician with Rottler since 2015. Evans resides in Joplin with his family (3 children, 2 dogs, and his wife).

“I look forward to my new role in growing the Joplin market. I will be focused on supporting my team, and it has always been a goal of mine to have a Joplin office, I have been pushing for years to make this happen and am beyond excited to be serving my local community,” says Evans.

Rottler is currently operating out of the Alert One office but looking forward to finding a new home in Joplin as we continue to invest in the community.
